J&R was excellent from start to finish. We had timely and accurate communication with the team before and during the move. The moving staff put in an extremely long day to get our cargo from Santa Ana to Sonoma. When they arrived at the site, the staff’s attitudes were upbeat and friendly. They helped us position nine bulky, 200 pound machines staying positive and helpful throughout the process. Our cargo was in perfect shape because of their careful packing. The price was right and the job was very well done. This level of customer service is a rarity these days.

The professionalism of this company was absolutely refreshing! Rebecca carefully organized the logistics of our move. J and Nigel wrapped up our furniture like it was brand new and cared for it all the way to UCLA, and even brought back a vehicle in great condition. The movers worked hard over 160 miles in challenging traffic conditions and very rigorous lifting up flights of stairs. What a wonderful group of workers. They were very professional, got right down to business. They were polite, very knowledgeable about how to get everything where I wanted it. Took great care to make sure nothing was damaged. They even wrapped my sofa just to be on the safe side. The move went well.  They were timely and arrived right on time.  The movers were friendly and handled all my belongings with care.  They did not throw any boxes.  I have unpacked ALL boxes and nothing broke and there were no scratches on any of my things.  What makes this company different then the others I looked into, before making a selection… was the travel cost.  They charge a $55 flat rate for gas, and the time it takes them to travel from location to location is simply charged at the hourly rate.  They had all the necessary wrap, blankets, dolly’s, etc to make sure the move was efficient. Overall I was very pleased with the service, I would definitely use them again and suggest them to others!

I was in need of a moving company with very short notice and over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2015.  I had several very high estimates from other companies but none of them wanted to work/drive over the holiday.  Rebecca gave me her best estimate and kept in touch with me during the entire process.  The drive ended up taking the truck much longer to reach my destination (moving from Palmdale to Rocklin, CA) because the Sunday after Thanksgiving is the busiest traffic day of the year!  But they made and everything went well.  I highly recommend this company and am sure you will not be disappointed with their service and pricing.

As a business owner I may be a tough judge however the team that was sent to me was on top of it. I asked them for a four hour move and they finished a half hour early.  They were very polite and accommodated my request for assembly on the second floor. I won’t talk about my past service but I will say this team delivered and I will be using them to move My office buildings as well.
